    volunteer Activities

    Some of the activities that you can be involved with include but are not limited to:

    • Teaching the children the word of God.
    • Providing support, encouragement, and guidance.
    •  Helping children with their homework.
    • Reading stories to smaller children.
    • Playing games.
    • Giving the children one-on-one attention.
    • Teaching songs, conducting sing-along
    • Mentoring. Serving as a positive role model for the children. Teaching by Example – honesty, fair play, politeness
    • Sharing with the children interests such as craft ideas, art, drama/skits, sports etc.
    • Gardening. Planting flowers, weeding garden, general maintenance of grounds and structures.
    • Developing and Strengthening Character in the children through assigned responsibilities.
    • • Teaching Life Skills such as personal savings, job hunting, shopping wisely, reading a contract, cooking, personal hygiene etc
